Summary: Effectively leads all Turning Stone Enterprises’ people management services provided to Oneida Innovations Group, and its subsidiaries Oneida Technical Solutions and Oneida Network Infrastructure (collectively “OIG”), including recruiting, onboarding, orientation, processing of team member hiring/termination/transfer, providing market analyses, team member information management and consulting, benefits administration, workers’ compensation support, performance assessment tracking, training, and coordinating events. Provides subject matter expertise in assigned areas to assist with development of organizational strategy, as well as supports operating departments and units in meeting specific objectives to recruit, retain, reward, and develop talent. Actively supports a strong organizational culture and brand by developing competitive team member offerings, ensuring high service levels for team members, and contributing to an innovative and unique team member experience.
Pay Range starts at 130,000 may be higher based on experience.
What you Will Do:
- Provides dynamic coaching and mentoring to OIG’s human resources team members to achieve the highest standards of operational support as well as retaining and building a reputation as an employer of choice.
- Provides subject matter expertise and guidance in OIG team member systems and payroll for OIG businesses, primarily focused on providing information technology and cyber solutions services to the federal government and Turning Stone Enterprises, and occasionally including hospitality, gaming, and retail.
- Provides regular OIG team member training, evaluation and service assessment to ensure supportive service to all team members and departments, assists with establishing metrics and feedback systems to ensure accountability.
- Works closely and collaboratively with other Turning Stone Enterprises and Oneida Indian Nation team members providing OIG with common administrative services, including, finance and legal support.
- Works closely with OIG’s Facility Security Officer in the recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing monitoring of cleared team members to ensure compliance with OIG policies and applicable law.
- Provides strategic assistance with HRIS and related systems to ensure optimization, efficiency and appropriate levels of automation.
- Oversees all OIG team member-related data and records and ensures security and efficiency of document management for this data and records.
- Makes appropriate information and analysis available to OIG to support operating, staffing and business planning decisions; supports continued digital transformation with availability of manager self-serve, team member self-serve, and analytics tools.
- Establish regular audit results to ensure accuracy of team member pay, benefits enrollments, and benefit plan compliance.
- Must be available to travel and attend periodic meetings onsite per business demand.
Experience You Will Have:
- At least 10 years of people and culture management/operations experience with a large, operationally diverse organization in the information technology industry.
- At least 5 years of experience in organization(s) engaged in government contracting.
- A bachelor’s degree in business management or human resources or equivalent experience is required, with a Master’s in Human Resources or an MBA preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, ERISA and other applicable wage, hour and labor laws.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated business and technical writing abilities.
- Strong math skills with budgeting and analysis experience.
- Flexibility to provide support and leadership during extended office hours and oversee team members working nights and weekends.
- Excellent computer skills with MS Office and HCM management experience.
